A Big THANK YOU to the  families who signed up to the Whitehill and Herne Green Team Big Tidy Up at the Summer Fair. 

Our aim is to make Crowborough litter-free before the eyes of the world are on us when the Olympic Torch arrives on July 17th. It's not too late to join in - litter bags are available at both school offices - or you can just use your own!

Children's Joint School Big Tidy Up

Members of the Green Teams of both Whitehill and Herne Schools joined together for a litter pick at the Wolfe Recreation Ground on Tuesday afternoon. The staff, children and parent volunteers collected 3 bags of litter. See the results of the litter pick and join the Big Tidy Up yourself at the schools' joint Summer Fair at Herne School on Saturday 30th June 2012 at 12.30. See you there!

Crowborough's Big Tidy Up

The eyes of the world will be on the UK in 2012 and on Crowborough in particular on the 17th July as the Olympic Torch passes through our town.

We are getting involved in the national campaign to tidy up the UK: At our schools' joint Jubilympics Summer Fair on Saturday 30th June 2012, we will be asking people to pledge to litter pick certain areas of Crowborough (they can choose them!).

We are already picking litter as a Green Team ourselves and will be showing off our finds at the School Fair! Come and see us and sign up!
